searching the summer sales!

Despite the weather in Uganda being much warmer than here in England, the dress code is a lot more modest. I already have one or two maxi dresses but somehow, I'm not sure they will last me a whole 9 months! I therefore needed to stock up on some Uganda-appropriate clothes!
So last week, myself and Mumma Sal went on a little shopping trip! First stop, Go Outdoors to find some 'practical' shoes for me to take out there. Now my friends heard about this, and have been desperate for me to show them a photo of my very 'practical' shoes, so here you go...

To be honest, I'm not going to Uganda to take part in Kampala Fashion Week, and so I don't really care what I'm going to look like! Comfort takes precedence over style 100% (or 110% as my Dad would say;))
I also bought this very cute maxi dress which was in the sale, bonus!

It has an elephant pattern along the bottom which I thought was very appropriate for my African adventure! Maxi dresses are ideal because they are respectful but also cool!

I've never been very interested in fashion so I think I'll stop trying to write about clothes before I embarrass myself... haha!
